Gary L. Bowling

I have known Alex Sharp for nearly 30 years. When I met him, I was a Police Officer, working under his immediate supervision. He was a young officer himself, but I watched him exercise compassion and fairness in difficult circumstances, some that were life-changing to the people he was helping.

One thing that was apparent when I met Alex was that he knew the community. He understood the unique challenges we faced because they were the same ones he faced growing up here. Even then, he was looking for ways to improve his community. His intelligence and work-ethic are clear. I wasn’t surprised when he transitioned from a successful law enforcement career to a very successful time at the State Attorney’s Office, and I believe that he is ready to assume a role of further trust and faith in our community.

I can support a person who supports his family in the manner that Alex does. It only demonstrates how able he is to support families that may come before him in a courtroom.

I trust him to do the job, and with no hesitation I recommend Alex Sharp for Putnam County Judge. Putnam County is Alex’s home- we should keep him here helping its citizens.
