I have had the privilege of knowing Alex sharp for 35 years. I first knew Alex as an officer with the Palatka Police Department and that began a long term relationship which over time has developed into a lasting friendship.

While serving as Putnam County Clerk of Courts I watched a young man grow into the man he is today. Alex joined the 7th Circuit State Attorney’s office serving as an Assistant State Attorney under the Honorable RJ Larizza. Alex was awarded his Juris Doctorate and passed the Florida Bar.

I have also had the privilege of serving with Alex as a member of Palatka Rotary Sunrise Club. He served our club with passion and was elected to serve as the President. I truly observed his commitment and dedication to Putnam County and his love of country and people.

My experience during my time as Clerk of Courts showed me a long list of Judges and the demeanor and character necessary to be a successful Judge. Strong advocate for law and order, fairness and compassion are the hallmarks of success.
